Biography
Dionisios Kavvadias is a New York City born and based artist. After graduating from the High School of Art and Design, he attended the School of Visual Arts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1997.
He has featured in group exhibitions at the Queens Council on the Arts, One Art Space, Future Studio Gallery, Kentler International Drawing Space, the SVA Gramercy Gallery, Greenpoint Gallery, John B. Kenny Gallery, the Organization of Independent Artists (OIA), AlterWork Studios, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the LIC Open Arts Gallery at The Factory, Plaxhall Gallery, and The Living Gallery.
Comic Cons include Big Apple Comic Con, Kids Comic Con, and WinterCon.
Mr. Kavvadias has also exhibited his artwork in support of such nonprofit organizations as Visual AIDS via their annual Postcards from the Edge benefit, Freedom Ladder via shows by The Set NYC, as well as thru fellow art collectives Artists for Creative Theatre, and Fantasy In Color.
